Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Violations And Urges International Community To Act At UNHRC

Ambassador Abdulmohsen bin Khothaila, Saudi Arabia's permanent representative to the United Nations in Geneva, has voiced strong condemnation of Israel's actions against Palestinians. He highlighted the systematic targeting of civilians during his address to the UN Human Rights Council. The ambassador criticised Israel's establishment of an agency for displacing Palestinians from Gaza and the approval of illegal settlements in the West Bank.

Ambassador bin Khothaila described these Israeli actions as clear violations of international law and humanitarian principles. He also condemned Israel's bombing of Syrian territories, stating that such attacks threaten Syria's security and regional stability. The ambassador urged the global community to take responsibility and stop these violations.

Saudi Arabia Calls for Action Against Israeli Violations

The ambassador stressed that peace is only possible if Palestinians gain their legitimate rights. This includes establishing an independent state based on 1967 borders with east Jerusalem as its capital. He called for international efforts to halt all Israeli military operations in Palestinian and Syrian areas.

In his speech, Ambassador bin Khothaila emphasised Saudi Arabia's full support for Syria, urging respect for its sovereignty. He called for an end to all actions undermining Syria’s security and stability. The ambassador reiterated the need for international intervention to address these ongoing issues.

He concluded by affirming Saudi Arabia’s solidarity with both the Syrian government and its people. The ambassador highlighted that achieving peace requires addressing Palestinian rights and respecting Syria’s territorial integrity.
