Saudi Arabia Concludes Successful Participation In HANNOVER MESSE Industrial Exhibition In China

Saudi Arabia recently wrapped up its involvement in the HANNOVER MESSE industrial exhibition, which took place in Shanghai, China, from September 23 to 27, 2025. This event attracted over 3,000 exhibitors globally and was attended by key figures in the advanced manufacturing sector. The Kingdom's participation included a national pavilion featuring various ministries and entities from the industry and mining ecosystem.

The Saudi pavilion highlighted the nation's industrial sector advancements. It showcased initiatives aimed at empowering industrial transformation and adopting Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies. Success stories of Saudi companies in automation, smart transformation, advanced control systems, robotics, and artificial intelligence were also presented.

Efforts to localise technologies and transfer knowledge were emphasised at the exhibition. The Kingdom aims to expand international partnerships with leading global industrial innovators. This aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Industrial Strategy's objectives of attracting high-quality investments.

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, along with the Ministry of Investment, played a significant role in Saudi Arabia's participation. Other entities involved included the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, MODON, the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, the Saudi Export Development Authority, and the National Industrial Development Center.

Saudi Arabia's presence at HANNOVER MESSE strengthens its position as a global industrial hub. It contributes to building strategic partnerships in advanced manufacturing. This participation underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to driving regional and global industrial transformation.

Riyadh is set to host the next edition of HANNOVER MESSE in December 2025. This highlights the Kingdom's pivotal role in shaping future industrial landscapes both regionally and globally.

The event served as a platform for Saudi Arabia to showcase its efforts in technology localisation and international collaboration. By participating actively in such events, Saudi Arabia continues to enhance its reputation on the world stage as a leader in industrial innovation.
