Various government agencies contributed to this initiative, highlighting the transformative role of Vision 2030 in fostering innovation.

GACA participated in two high-level sessions focusing on investment prospects and the aviation sector's pivotal role in economic growth. The sessions explored how these strategies are attracting international investments and promoting sustainable growth.

Saudi Arabia Showcases Aviation at Davos 2025

During a session titled "The Future of Aviation," Ali bin Mohammed Rajab, GACA's Executive Vice President of Air Transport and International Cooperation, highlighted efforts to attract international investments. He noted that these efforts include promoting sustainable growth and fostering innovation through global partnerships while advancing Saudi talent within the aviation sector.

Rajab emphasised Saudi Arabia’s leadership in civil aviation, citing active participation in organisations like the UN International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO). He also mentioned the success of the 2024 Future Aviation Forum, which resulted in 102 agreements valued at $20 billion.

The Kingdom’s aviation sector has shown significant growth, including a 35% increase in air cargo capabilities during 2024. Connections to over 170 global destinations have been established, bolstering trade, tourism, and humanitarian efforts. These developments further solidify Saudi Arabia’s influence on the global stage.

Platform for Innovation and Dialogue

The Saudi House pavilion serves as a platform for entrepreneurs, innovators, and thought leaders to discuss transformative trends shaping the future of global society and economy. It will host a series of dialogue sessions addressing key trends in social and economic transformation both locally and globally.

Through initiatives like these, Saudi Arabia continues to position itself as a leader in civil aviation. By aligning with Vision 2030 goals, it aims to drive innovation and economic growth while strengthening its global presence.
