Saudi Arabia And China Finalise Export Agreements For Dairy And Aquaculture Products
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and China have formalised two crucial export protocols, enabling Saudi dairy and aquaculture products to access the Chinese market. These agreements were concluded during Minister Abdulrahman Alfadley's official visit to Beijing from May 12 to 14. The protocols were signed by Minister Alfadley for Saudi Arabia and Sun Meijun, Head of the General Administration of Customs of China.
This development signifies a major advancement in trade relations, particularly in high-quality food products, and aims to enhance customs cooperation between the two countries. Discussions during the meeting centred on boosting trade in the dairy and aquaculture sectors, simplifying export procedures, and encouraging Saudi businesses to increase their presence in China.

Minister Alfadley highlighted the "fruitful and constructive" collaboration between Saudi Arabia and China, which has evolved over the past seven years. He stated that these new protocols demonstrate growing trust between both nations and will aid leading Saudi companies in entering the Chinese market.
The efforts align with Saudi Arabia's strategic objective of enhancing national exports as part of the Vision 2030 economic diversification initiative. Minister Alfadley reaffirmed the Kingdom's dedication to developing strong regulations and empowering the private sector by adopting international best practices.
Looking forward, he expressed optimism about broadening Saudi Arabia's export portfolio to China, strengthening economic ties, and enhancing food security partnerships. He also mentioned plans for future agreements aimed at further bolstering trade connections between the two nations.
