Saudi Arabia Chairs ASBU Meeting In Tunisia To Strengthen Arab Media Collaboration And Identity
The 112th Executive Council meeting of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) was chaired by Saudi Arabia in Hammamet, Tunisia. Member states participated alongside ASBU President Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Harthi. Al-Harthi emphasised the need for enhanced Arab media cooperation to address development issues and amplify the voice of Arab people globally.
Al-Harthi pointed out that this gathering is a vital step towards unifying media efforts among member states. The strategic vision aims to highlight Arab identity, promote shared values, and align with global media trends according to the needs of Arab societies. He also mentioned investment projects aimed at providing ASBU with sustainable financial resources.
