Saudi Arabia To Experience Soaring Temperatures Throughout The Week
Saudi Arabia's National Center of Meteorology has stated that high temperatures are expected to persist across Saudi Arabia until the end of week.
From Sunday, June 30, to Friday, July 5, extremely hot weather is anticipated in the Eastern Region and parts of Riyadh, with maximum temperatures ranging between 46-49°C. Makkah and Al-Madinah are also forecasted to experience similar conditions, with temperatures reaching 42-45°C, according to Saudi Gazette reports.
On Saturday, the center reported that Al-Ahsa and Sharurah recorded the highest maximum temperature at 47°C, while Dammam reached 46°C.
Furthermore, temperatures of 45°C were observed in Al-Madinah, Mina, and Wadi Al-Dawasir. The sweltering heat is expected to continue throughout the country until the end of this current week.
