This initiative, a collaboration between the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) and IBM, resulted in the largest Arabic-language AI model, trained on extensive datasets to understand Arabic language applications deeply.

The discussion also delved into quantum computing breakthroughs. Krishna shared IBM’s expectations of significant advancements within three to five years, despite some estimates suggesting it could take longer. He pointed out that quantum computing could transform energy, materials science, and pharmaceuticals, positioning Saudi Arabia as a key player in utilizing this transformative technology.
