Saudi Airports Recognised For Excellence In 2025 Skytrax World Airport Awards

Saudi airports have been acknowledged in the 2025 Skytrax World Airport Awards, showcasing their excellence on both regional and global scales. King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah received several accolades for their outstanding services.

King Khalid International Airport achieved significant recognition by ranking 24th among the World's Top 100 Airports. It also won the award for Best Airport Staff in the Middle East. Additionally, it secured third place globally for Best New Terminal and ranked fourth in both the 30–40 million passengers category and among Middle Eastern airports.

Saudi Airports Shine in Skytrax Awards

King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah was ranked 44th globally and earned a 4-star Skytrax rating. It also placed fifth among Middle Eastern airports. Meanwhile, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport was named the Best Regional Airport in the Middle East and ranked seventh regionally.

King Fahd International Airport in Dammam was recognised as the second-best regional airport in the Middle East and ranked eighth overall in the region. These achievements highlight Saudi Arabia's commitment to enhancing its aviation sector to meet international standards.

The recognition of these airports reflects significant progress within Saudi Arabia's aviation industry. MATARAT Holding plays a crucial role by managing 27 airports across the Kingdom through its subsidiaries: Riyadh Airports, Jeddah Airports, Dammam Airports, and Cluster 2. Their efforts align with Saudi Vision 2030 to develop airport infrastructure.

Skytrax is an international organisation that assesses airports and airlines based on comprehensive passenger surveys worldwide. The awards received by Saudi airports demonstrate ongoing efforts to improve passenger experiences according to global benchmarks.

The advancements made by these airports support the objectives of the Saudi Aviation Strategy. This strategy is part of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy aimed at boosting performance and development within the Kingdom's aviation sector.
