Saudi 100 Brands Program Reveals Winner Of Saudi Heritage Revival Fashion Competition
The "Saudi Heritage Revival" competition winner was revealed at the Creative Residence, located in the Fashion Commission FCR headquarters at JAX District. The event saw the presence of jury members and participants. Launched in July by the Saudi 100 Brands Program, this initiative aimed to promote sustainability in fashion design by showcasing Saudi cultural heritage.
Participants were encouraged to create unique designs using classic Swarovski crystals, integrating elements of Saudi culture and heritage. The competition included an introductory virtual meeting on August 26 and workshops with Swarovski experts in Riyadh from September 2-4. Individual virtual sessions followed to monitor participants' progress.

The competition's stages were meticulously planned to ensure participants received adequate guidance. The jury evaluated the designs, selecting a winner on September 25 at the Creative Residence. The winning designer earned a training opportunity at Dar Al-Hanouf Fashion in Jeddah.
The top five designers also gained entry into an international academic competition by Swarovski. This contest, titled "Interpretation of the Swarovski SS 2025 Inspiration Theme Street Art in a Commercial Ready to Wear Outfit," offers further exposure for these talented individuals.
The jury comprised Burak Cakmak, Meshal Alharthi, Rana Sakkat, DAR ALHANOUF, Sahana Hegde, and Zubair Khawar. Their expertise spanned various facets of fashion and design. The closing ceremony featured presentations from all participating designers, culminating in Hebah Baatiyyah being declared the winner.
Hebah Baatiyyah was awarded a training opportunity at Dar Alhanouf Fashion house. Other top designers included Alanood Aljabeer, Lama AlHabashi, Rawan Alyami, and Reem Bashawri. These designers will participate in an international competition organized by Swarovski.
