Sandooq Al Watan Launches Jusoor International Initiative For Emirati Graduates To Work In Germany
Sandooq Al Watan recently hosted an introductory session for the fourth edition of the "Jusoor International" initiative. This programme offers exceptional Emirati university graduates the chance to live, train, and work in leading German companies within technology, engineering, and medical fields. The initiative is supported by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.
The event saw the participation of 25 selected graduates who will travel to Germany for hands-on experience in top German firms. These companies operate in advanced technical, industrial, and medical sectors. Yasser Al Gergawi, Director-General of Sandooq Al Watan, attended alongside several German experts involved in the programme.

Al Gergawi highlighted that the meeting included workshops on life and work culture in Germany. Participants learned about workplace regulations and training opportunities within German companies. The programme offers a 2.5-month experience in a modern work environment, fully funded by Sandooq Al Watan.
He conveyed Sheikh Nahyan's greetings to participants, reaffirming his support for this initiative that empowers Emirati youth through training and employment. "Jusoor International" aims to prepare youth for a knowledge-based economy by providing practical experience in advanced industrial settings.
Sheikh Nahyan praised the support from the Al Rostamani Group for Jusoor UAE, noting their strong national commitment as key partners in its success. Al Gergawi mentioned that the Foundation ensures a comprehensive programme allowing participants to explore German industry while representing their national culture abroad.
Participants embody Emirati identity and values, gaining skills in personal finance management and adapting to European workplace cultures. They expressed pride in being part of Jusoor International, determined to acquire advanced German knowledge for promising career prospects.
Growth of Jusoor International
Launched by the UAE-Germany 4IR Taskforce in 2020 and adopted by Sandooq Al Watan in 2021, Jusoor International has grown significantly. It started with 13 students in its first cohort in 2022 and now hosts 25 participants in its fourth edition this year.
The continuous support from Sandooq Al Watan and Sheikh Nahyan's patronage were praised by participants. They are eager to make the most of this opportunity to enhance their skills and expertise.
