Sanad And Rolls-Royce Collaborate To Foster Future Aviation Leaders

Sanad, a global leader in aerospace engineering and leasing solutions owned by Mubadala, has partnered with Rolls-Royce to nurture future leaders in aviation. The agreement was signed at the Farnborough International Airshow in the UK, witnessed by Amer Siddiqui, Group Chairman of Sanad, Ismail Ali Abdulla, Head of UAE Clusters at Mubadala, and Omar Ali Adib, Senior Vice President of Rolls-Royce.

Starting in September 2025, Rolls-Royce and Sanad will jointly select exceptional talents from Sanad who exhibit strong leadership potential. These individuals will join the Rolls-Royce team in the UK for six months. This initiative aims to equip them with industry-leading skills in aerospace Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations.

Developing Next-Gen Aviation Leaders

Mansoor Janahi, Managing Director and Group CEO of Sanad, emphasised the ongoing partnership with Rolls-Royce since 2013 as a testament to their shared commitment to excellence. The new collaboration will offer employees a six-month training programme at one of Rolls-Royce's locations worldwide to develop their skills and best practices.

Ismail Ali Abdulla highlighted the long-standing productive relationship between Mubadala and Rolls-Royce. "Mubadala has maintained a strong and productive relationship with Rolls-Royce for many years, and we are excited to elevate this collaboration to new heights. This partnership will significantly benefit Abu Dhabi and further our ambition to establish it as a global aviation hub," he stated.

This annual initiative is designed to bolster both Sanad's and the UAE's efforts to cultivate top-tier talent in the aviation industry. By focusing on developing future leaders with advanced MRO skills, the programme aims to enhance the overall capabilities within the sector.

Innovative Training Programme

Omar Ali Adib expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with Sanad on this innovative training programme. "We are eager to collaborate with Sanad on this innovative training programme. By combining our expertise and resources, we aim to create exceptional development pathways for future aviation leaders, driving innovation and excellence within the industry," he said.

The collaboration between Sanad and Rolls-Royce represents a significant step towards nurturing future leaders in aviation. Through this partnership, both organisations aim to drive innovation and excellence within the industry while contributing to Abu Dhabi's vision of becoming a global aviation hub.
