Sanad And AerCap Materials Finalise AED 400 Million Engine And Airframe Component Deal
Sanad, a leader in aerospace engineering and leasing, has secured a major deal with AerCap Materials. This agreement, valued at over AED400 million (US$110 million), was finalised at the IATA Annual General Meeting in Delhi. It represents a significant step forward in aviation asset management, focusing on enhancing component availability and operational efficiency while strengthening supply chain resilience.
The transaction involves more than 6,000 high-demand components across various aircraft platforms. These include Airbus models like A220, A320, A330, A340, and A380; Boeing's 737, 777, and 787; as well as Embraer's E-Jet series. The portfolio comprises both on-lease components for airline operations and off-lease components to meet rising demand.

With ongoing global supply chain challenges affecting operators, this deal ensures airlines have timely access to essential components. This supports fleet reliability and business continuity. The agreement aids AerCap Materials in scaling its aftermarket services while allowing Sanad to streamline its portfolio for strategic growth.
