SAMI Alsalam Aerospace Industries Company, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), has entered into several significant commercial agreements with prominent regional and international firms. The agreements were signed at the Dubai Airshow 2025, attended by key figures including Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Eng. Thamer AlMuhid, CEO of SAMI, and Eng. Sami Alnajem, CEO of SAMI Alsalam.
The first agreement involves SkyFive Arabia and focuses on installing and testing advanced Air-to-Ground (A2G) connectivity systems on Flynas aircraft. This program includes comprehensive installation, wiring, and ground testing for Flynas’s current fleet and 120 additional aircraft from other operators. This collaboration marks the region's first in-flight connectivity integration of its kind, positioning SAMI Alsalam as SkyFive’s exclusive partner for modifying and testing connectivity systems.

In another strategic move, SAMI Alsalam signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Jazeera Airways to develop heavy maintenance capabilities for the airline’s fleet. This partnership aims to implement advanced maintenance programs at SAMI Alsalam’s facilities in Saudi Arabia. It will expand the company's Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) offerings while strengthening regional cooperation.
The third agreement is an MoU with ALPHASTAR Aviation to establish a framework for strategic cooperation in private aviation MRO services. This partnership will enhance SAMI Alsalam’s expertise in commercial aviation by attracting new operators to its growing maintenance network. It also aims to provide specialized technical support for private jet operators across the region.
SAMI Alsalam also signed an agreement with ARTS Aviation Asset Management FZCO to develop comprehensive solutions for various aircraft types. This includes maintenance, supply chain support, and technical consultancy services. The partnership lays the groundwork for future collaboration, enabling SAMI Alsalam to broaden its service offerings and improve operational efficiency.
These agreements reinforce SAMI Alsalam’s position as a leader in MRO solutions within the region. They highlight the company's commitment to advancing Saudi Arabia’s aerospace sector through localization and knowledge transfer. By fostering innovation and empowering national talent, these initiatives align with Vision 2030 goals.
