SAMI-AEC Continues Support For Best Graduation Project Award At King Saud University
SAMI Advanced Electronics Company (SAMI-AEC), a branch of Saudi Arabian Military Industries, has once again demonstrated its dedication to fostering national talent. For the 26th year in a row, it sponsored the Best Graduation Project Award at King Saud University (KSU). This enduring partnership highlights SAMI-AEC's commitment to enhancing local skills and empowering Saudi youth in technology and engineering.
A joint panel from SAMI-AEC and KSU evaluated more than 12 projects from the graduating class of 2024. The award ceremony was attended by senior executives, faculty members, and students. The awards were presented in three categories: Scientific Advancement for best project, Excellence for top academic performance, and Creativity for the most innovative idea.

Eng. Ziad Al-Musallam, CEO of SAMI-AEC, expressed pride in supporting future Saudi innovators. He stressed that as Saudi Arabia moves towards a knowledge-based economy, investing in youth education and innovation is both necessary and strategic. This sponsorship aligns with SAMI-AEC's mission to contribute to the Kingdom’s industrial self-sufficiency under Vision 2030.
King Saud University acting president Dr. Abdullah Al-Salman praised the partnership with SAMI-AEC. The awards aim to highlight breakthrough thinking, academic rigor, and real-world problem-solving skills among students from KSU’s College of Computer and Information Sciences, College of Engineering, and Department of Electrical Engineering.
