Salem Bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi Crowns BEEAH Group As Champions Of Ramadan Padel Tennis Tournament
The BEEAH Group team emerged victorious in the men's padel tennis championship at the Sharjah Government Employees Club Ramadan Sports Tournament. Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler’s Office, awarded them the title on Friday evening at the Padel Arena. The Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority team secured second place, while the Sharjah Police Sciences Academy team finished third.
The tournament is an initiative by the Sharjah Government Employees Club to promote health and camaraderie among staff. It aims to foster teamwork and positive interactions outside regular work duties. Organisers are committed to enhancing the event annually to attract more participants and provide a memorable sporting experience.
A total of 34 teams from 28 government agencies participated, bringing together 68 players. The atmosphere was lively, with enthusiastic support from both players and spectators. Padel tennis fans added to the vibrant setting by cheering on their favourite teams throughout the tournament.
The event began during Ramadan, offering government employees a chance to build stronger relationships in a fun and competitive environment. This helped break their daily routines and encouraged a spirit of challenge and sportsmanship among participants.
The final match and award ceremony were graced by several prominent figures. Among them were Ahmed Hamad Al Suwaidi, Head of the Ruler's Office, and Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, Chairman of the Sharjah Government Employees Club. Many other officials and representatives from participating teams also attended.
