Saif Bin Zayed And Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Meet To Strengthen Bilateral Ties

H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, recently engaged in discussions with Mohsin Naqvi, Pakistan's Minister of Interior and Counter-Narcotics. The meeting highlighted the enduring ties between the UAE and Pakistan, focusing on strengthening cooperation across various sectors.

The dialogue also covered regional and international matters of shared interest. Both parties explored ways to boost security coordination and share expertise, especially in combating drug trafficking and transnational organized crime. The use of advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, was emphasized as crucial for addressing security challenges effectively.

Saif bin Zayed Meets Pakistani Minister

During the meeting, the importance of leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance national and regional security was underscored. By integrating AI-supported systems, both nations aim to bolster their efforts in maintaining stability and safety.

The session was attended by several key figures from the UAE's Ministry of Interior. Among them were Major General Salem Ali Al Shamsi, Assistant Under-Secretary for Resources and Support Services; Major General Sheikh Mohammed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier Engineer Hussein Ahmed Al Harithi, Director-General of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Security; Brigadier Saeed Abdullah Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the Federal Anti-Narcotics Department; along with other officers. The Pakistani delegation accompanied their Interior Minister.

As part of their visit to the Ministry of Interior, Mohsin Naqvi's delegation received insights into the Ministry's operations room dedicated to customer visit monitoring. They learned about the systems used for evaluating police services, enhancing employee performance, and delivering innovative policing solutions.

The gathering reaffirmed both countries' commitment to deepening their partnership through enhanced collaboration in security matters. This mutual dedication aims to address common challenges while fostering a safer environment for their citizens.
