Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Presides Over Council To Boost UAE's Digital Life Quality

In a significant stride towards enhancing digital well-being, H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, chaired the Council for Digital Quality of Life meeting at Qasr Al Watan, Abu Dhabi. The session saw the presence of key figures including Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Community Development and Vice President of the Council, alongside Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qassimi, Minister of Culture, and Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications.

The council approved 38 indicators aimed at protecting UAE society from digital risks and inappropriate content that contradicts inherited customs and traditions. This initiative underscores the UAE's commitment to preserving Emirati values while equipping the youth with necessary skills to tackle digital challenges adeptly. The meeting also delved into the quality of life indicators of member entities, a crucial step in bolstering the UAE's competitiveness and leadership in the digital domain.
