Saif Bin Zayed Celebrates Graduation Of 12th National Defense Course In Abu Dhabi

H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, attended the graduation ceremony for the 12th National Defense Course (2024–2025) at the National Defence College in Abu Dhabi. The event was graced by Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Fadel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defense Affairs, along with several senior officials and officers.

During the ceremony, H.H. praised the graduates for their dedication and effective performance during their academic and field-based training at the college. He highlighted their readiness to contribute to the UAE's sustainable development, particularly in national security, defense, sustainability, and innovation.

The National Defense College has established itself as a model in strategic thinking and leadership development. Staff Brigadier Saeed Hassan Mohamed Alyammahi, Commandant of the National Defense College, expressed pride in graduating leaders from both military and civilian sectors. These leaders completed an intensive academic year designed to prepare them for understanding national security comprehensively and engaging with geopolitical challenges.

The college annually enhances its academic programmes to align with national priorities. This boosts Emirati professionals' readiness to tackle security, geopolitical, economic, and technological challenges through strategic thinking and innovation.

This year's course was themed "Year of Community," launched by wise leadership to emphasise social cohesion's role in strengthening national security. The college integrated this value throughout the curriculum for this cohort.

At the end of the ceremony, H.H. honoured the graduates for their achievements.
