Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Celebrates Graduation Of Tenth Cohort In Future Services Diploma Programme

The tenth cohort of the Future Services Diploma celebrated its graduation in Abu Dhabi, attended by H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. This programme, organised by the Ministry of Interior with Etisalat Academy of the e& Group, aims to nurture national talent for future government services.

Brigadier General Nasser Khadem Al Kaabi, Director General of Happiness at the Ministry of Interior, praised H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his continuous support. He stated that the initiative, launched a decade ago under H.H.'s guidance, has become essential for developing frontline professionals in both government and private sectors.

The diploma programme is built on three strategic pillars: Digital Empowerment, Service Empowerment, and Security and Behavioral Empowerment. These pillars cover areas like AI, virtual assistants, data science, proactive service delivery, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and behavioural insights.

H.H. Sheikh Saif honoured the top ten graduates for their exceptional performance and dedication throughout this internationally accredited programme. He also acknowledged strategic partners such as the Cyber Security Council and Etisalat Academy (e& Group) for their crucial support.

The tenth cohort included participants from 52 diverse entities across federal ministries, local authorities, and private organisations. A total of 196 individuals met the graduation requirements successfully. Since its inception, 2,834 professionals from over 170 entities have benefited from this programme.

The graduation ceremony was attended by notable figures including Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Derei from the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili from the Ministry of Interior. Other attendees included officials from various ministries and organisations.

Innovative Learning Approach

The programme employs a hybrid learning model combining interactive theoretical components with practical applications like case studies and institutional visits. It maintains international accreditation through exams administered by the International Association for Business Training.

Brigadier General Al Kaabi emphasised that this professional diploma supports leadership goals to "eliminate government bureaucracy," enhancing UAE's status as "the world’s most future-ready government." The diploma equips participants with skills in AI tools and data-driven service design.

Commitment to Innovation

This cohort's graduation underscores the Ministry of Interior’s dedication to innovation and preparing national talent for leading major government transformation projects. The diploma focuses on skills needed in communication departments, customer happiness centres, frontline operations, marketing, IT, and AI.

"Service is not a routine process but a human experience defined by passion, agility, and innovation," said Brigadier General Al Kaabi during his speech at the event.

The programme's framework includes workshops and role-playing exercises alongside advanced practical applications to ensure real-world outcomes. It aligns Zero Bureaucracy initiatives with measurable service performance while embedding a human-centric Government Services 2.0 model.
