Safran Aircraft Engines And Abu Dhabi Aviation Group Forge Strategic MoU For Military Aviation MRO Services
Safran Aircraft Engines and Abu Dhabi Aviation Group (ADA) have entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to boost collaboration in military aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services. This agreement, signed at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2025), is designed to enhance national capabilities and broaden international opportunities in aerospace maintenance.
ADA Group, which includes GAL and AMMROC, plays a crucial role in advancing the UAE’s aviation and defence sectors. GAL provides integrated aviation support for defence, while AMMROC leads in military MRO solutions in the region. The partnership with Safran aims to combine ADA's expertise with Safran's engine knowledge to explore joint opportunities in engine maintenance.

The collaboration focuses on ensuring sustained operational readiness on-base for end-users. It also aims to develop local DLM capabilities across Safran Aircraft Engines' military engines portfolio. This initiative supports mission-critical aviation operations by enhancing fleet reliability and sustainability.
