Ruwad Community Initiative Strengthens National Entrepreneurship Projects In Sharjah

The Sharjah Foundation to Support Pioneering Entrepreneurs (RUWAD), part of the Sharjah Department of Economic Development, introduced the "Ruwad Community" initiative recently in Aljada. This inaugural event gathered national small and medium enterprises (SMEs) alongside 20 private sector institutions. It provided dedicated spaces for these entities to present their services to entrepreneurs, aiming to bolster partnerships and enrich the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the emirate.

Fatima Al Ali, Director of Ruwad, officially opened the event, which saw participation from over 70 entrepreneurs, including RUWAD members and aspiring business enthusiasts. The gathering offered a platform for networking and showcasing diverse business services. Al Ali highlighted that this initiative aims to establish a dynamic connection between SMEs and private companies.

Ruwad Community Boosts Entrepreneurship in Sharjah

Al Ali emphasised that exposure to various services and facilities can aid project development, access competitive offers, and facilitate strategic contracts in administrative, financial, and marketing domains. She expressed gratitude towards participating companies for their role in linking the private sector with entrepreneurship.

The event featured 20 companies from sectors like banking, marketing, human resources, feasibility studies, accounting, and e-commerce. Their involvement demonstrated the extensive support available to entrepreneurs in Sharjah. This initiative also served as a promotional platform for Ruwad member projects.

The initiative aimed to enhance revenue potential through possible contracts with private sector firms. It connected members with new service providers while assisting the Ruwad team in updating its database of engaged individuals within Sharjah's entrepreneurial landscape.

Al Ali noted the crucial role of private institutions in offering high-quality services backed by expertise and advanced tools. This collaboration creates added value for both parties and boosts local and foreign investment. The initiative fosters a vibrant entrepreneurial environment by linking SMEs with experienced private sector partners.
