Rubu’ Qarn Season Showcases Sharjah’s Youth Innovation And Creative Talents

The Rubu’ Qarn for Future Leaders and Innovators is hosting its second annual Arts and Literature Season. This event is drawing large crowds of art and culture enthusiasts throughout Sharjah, including areas like Aljada and Khorfakkan Library. The season features a variety of literary and artistic activities that highlight the creativity and talent of the Foundation's young members.

The initiative aligns with Rubu’ Qarn’s mission to nurture children and youth by providing platforms for them to express their creativity in literature, art, music, theatre, visual arts, and film. The Foundation aims to empower conscious and influential generations while fostering communication between creative youth and society.

Celebrating Youth Innovation in Sharjah

The Literature and Languages events have seen strong participation. Young members engaged audiences with poetry readings, theatrical performances, and a proverbs challenge. Plays such as "I Love My Country," "The Emirati House," and "The Girl and the Butterflies" showcased participants' imagination and linguistic creativity.

Interactive activities like the Storyteller’s Corner, Book Tour Corner, and Century Reader Platform Corner provided innovative experiences in reading and storytelling. The Story in a Bottle project was particularly noteworthy for blending literature with technology through recorded stories accessible via QR codes.

The visual arts exhibition titled "Worlds of Art: Between Craft and Imagination" presented three creative themes: From Raw Materials to Imagination, Memory and Identity, and Worlds Beyond Reality. These works explored Emirati heritage, artistic innovation, and the integration of technology in art.

Photography displays from the Parallel World Lens and AI Imagination programmes transformed stories into digital artworks and book covers. These exhibitions highlighted how technology can enhance artistic expression.

Music Centre Performances

Members of the Rubu’ Qarn Music Centre delivered performances featuring both Arabic and international pieces. These performances demonstrated the musical talents of young members while celebrating cultural diversity through music.

The Theatre and Performing Arts Centre also played a significant role by highlighting drama's importance in developing character and teamwork among participants. Through drama activities, young people learned valuable skills that contribute to personal growth.

The multidisciplinary approach of the Rubu’ Qarn Arts and Literature Season empowers young individuals to express their national identity through modern artistic forms. This initiative supports Sharjah’s vision of cultivating creativity while promoting human development within its community.
