Royal Reserve Promotes Ecotourism And Conservation At ADIHEX
The Imam Turki Bin Abdullah Royal Reserve Development Authority inaugurated its pavilion at the 21st Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX). This event, running from August 31 to September 8, aims to highlight the reserve's ecotourism potential and its rich heritage.
The pavilion showcases the reserve’s efforts in restoring ecological balance and preserving biodiversity. Visitors will learn about the protection of wildlife and vegetation, as well as the preservation of cultural heritage. The interactive experience reflects Saudi Arabia’s cultural depth and the authenticity of local arts and crafts.

Among the highlighted tourism programs are the Northern Reserve, Saudi Arabia's first sustainable hunting reserve, and the Husky Caravans. These programs offer unique experiences for individuals and families amidst stunning natural landscapes. Activities such as camping and stargazing in dark-sky areas are also promoted.
The authority not only focuses on ecotourism but also involves the local community in its initiatives. It raises awareness about biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. This engagement helps empower the local community while promoting environmental stewardship.
Spanning 91,500 square kilometers, the reserve is home to over 138 wildlife species and more than 179 plant species.
