IE University, based in Madrid, is renowned globally for its expertise in management, leadership, and innovation. It includes six schools focusing on various disciplines such as Business, Law, and Science and Technology. With over 500 faculty members and students from more than 160 countries, its alumni network spans 185 countries.

Riyadh City and IE University Launch Centre

The Creative District initiative was launched by the RCRC Board of Directors in February. The King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) hosts its first phase. This initiative aims to bolster Saudi Arabia's creative economy by fostering collaboration between local and international talents and attracting global firms in media, culture, and media technologies.

The IE Center will act as a collaborative space where entrepreneurs, business leaders, and creatives can meet and exchange ideas. It aims to facilitate knowledge sharing between Saudi Arabia, the Middle East region, and the global community through three main components: entrepreneurship support, executive skill development, and a creative lab for exploring trends.

Eng. Mazen Ahmed Tammar from RCRC expressed pride in partnering with IE University. He highlighted that IE University's academic reputation adds significant value to this collaboration. The partnership aims to empower national competencies by connecting them with the global ecosystem and localizing content creation.

Tammar stated: "With the participation of institutions like IE, Riyadh's Creative District becomes a powerful engine for economic and social transformation." He emphasized its role in developing future Saudi executives and entrepreneurs within the creative and technology sectors.

IE University's Commitment

William Davila Valeri from IE University expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with RCRC on this forward-looking initiative. He described the center as a pioneering platform for educational innovation across the region. The center will offer multidisciplinary learning environments supported by advanced curricula and international partnerships.

Valeri looked forward to launching programs later this year. He anticipates that the center will actively contribute to Saudi Arabia's creative ecosystem through its innovative educational offerings.

This strategic partnership underscores both parties' commitment to fostering creativity and innovation within Saudi Arabia while enhancing global collaboration opportunities.
