ROSHN And Keswat Farah Charity Set Guinness World Record With Massive Clothing Donation
ROSHN Group, in collaboration with Keswat Farah Charity, has achieved a new Guinness World Record for the largest clothing donation. The recent drive, conducted during Ramadan, saw over 1.5 million clothing items contributed by the Saudi public. This initiative involved more than 3,500 volunteers from Keswat Farah, the Saudi public, and ROSHN employees.
These volunteers dedicated over 70,000 hours to collect and organize the donations during the first half of this year. The latest drive set a Guinness World Record for the single largest donation made in one go. This effort is part of ROSHN's YUHYEEK Social Responsibility Program, which aims to improve the quality of life for those in need across Saudi Arabia.

The YUHYEEK Social Responsibility Program partners with leading non-profit organizations to support various social causes. The clothing donations also contribute to environmental sustainability by mitigating nearly 18,000 kilograms of CO2 emissions. This is achieved by giving pre-owned clothing a new lease of life instead of manufacturing new items.
ROSHN Group's Chief Marketing Officer Ghada AlRumayan highlighted the company's commitment to societal welfare: "These clothing drives, undertaken in partnership with charities including Keswat Farah, will make a meaningful difference to the lives of tens of thousands of people." AlRumayan also expressed gratitude towards the donors and emphasized the generosity and compassion of Saudi society.
The initiative not only supports those in need but also aligns with national efforts to promote environmental materiality. By reusing pre-owned clothing, the campaign significantly reduces carbon emissions and supports sustainable practices.
The record-setting donation drive underscores ROSHN Group's dedication to social responsibility and environmental sustainability. Through such initiatives, the company continues to make a positive impact on both society and the environment.
