Riyadh Zoo Unveils Immersive Wildlife Experiences For Visitors During Riyadh Season 2025

The Riyadh Zoo zone has been unveiled as a highlight of Riyadh Season 2025, providing visitors with a rich entertainment experience. Located in the Al-Malaz district, it covers 161,000 square meters and brings the wildlife world to life. The zoo features over 1,600 animals from 170 species across six thematic zones that mimic natural habitats from various continents.

Visitors can explore diverse zones such as Pink Lake, Wild Adventure, Enchanted Forest, The Swamp, Ape Escape, and Almalaz Bay. These areas are designed to reflect different global environments. The zoo offers interactive experiences like animal feeding and educational workshops for children. New attractions for 2025 include the Elephant Experience and the Giraffe & African Exhibit.

The Elephant Experience allows guests to observe elephants during natural behaviors up close. Meanwhile, the Giraffe & African Exhibit features an elevated bridge for closer views of giraffes and elands. Daily live performances on the main stage include acts like Silly Brothers, Blue Clown Circus, Magician Show, and Bubbles Show.

Roaming performances such as Jungle Friends, Music Band & Drummers, and Flamingo Stilts entertain visitors along the pathways. The zone also provides comprehensive hospitality services with restaurants, kiosks, food carts, a retail area, and interactive activity zones for children.

The layout of Riyadh Zoo allows visitors to transition smoothly between different environments. This design simulates a journey across global habitats while ensuring safe animal viewing up close. The zoo is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., accommodating up to 12,000 visitors at once.
