Riyadh Receives Elite Horses For 2024 FEI World Cup Series Finals
Over the span of two days, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh has been the landing site for 60 elite horses flown in from Liege, Belgium. These horses are set to showcase their prowess in the 2024 FEI World Cup Series Finals in Dressage and Jumping. The prestigious event is scheduled to start next Tuesday and will span four days. This marks a significant moment as these horses, among the most valued globally, will be competing at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, the designated headquarters for this international competition.
The horses were carefully transported in specialized trucks to their stables at the venue, ensuring their safety and comfort. The organizing committee has taken stringent measures to monitor the well-being of these equine athletes around the clock, employing both human supervision and technological assistance. This meticulous attention to detail underscores the commitment to adhere to international quarantine regulations, safeguarding the health of these prized horses.

This year's FEI World Cup Series Finals holds particular significance as it represents the first occasion the Middle East will host this global equestrian event. The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) has confirmed the participation of 34 riders, including the top 6 from the world rankings.
