Joy Awards 2025: Riyadh Hosts Sixth Edition Celebrating Arab And International Talent
Riyadh is preparing for the sixth Joy Awards ceremony on the evening of 18 January 2025. The event will honour leading names in entertainment, including cinema, drama, music, sports and influencers. Winners will be selected for works and personalities that had strong public impact during 2025, based on voting through the Joy Awards application.
The ceremony will gather Arab and international stars from artistic and sports fields, in addition to digital content creators. Media outlets from Saudi Arabia and abroad will attend in large numbers. A variety of artistic and sports works, along with prominent figures, will compete across several awards within six main categories.

The Joy Awards will distribute honours in cinema, television drama series, music, directing, sports and influencers. The evening programme will feature a lavender carpet segment, followed by the main awards presentations. Audiences will also watch artistic performances, including musical and singing segments, creating a full entertainment schedule around the official ceremony.
The ceremony will start at 7:00 p.m. KSA time and will be broadcast live. Coverage will appear on MBC1, MBC Masr, MBC Iraq and MBC5, alongside streaming on the Shahid platform. Viewers across the region will be able to follow arrivals, performances and awards in real time through these television channels and digital services.

The General Entertainment Authority is organising the Joy Awards as part of Riyadh Season, under the presence of GEA Chairman of the Board of Directors Advisor Turki Alalshikh. The ceremony highlights Saudi Arabia’s role as a regional centre for entertainment and supports the cultural and artistic momentum aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
