Riyadh Theater Festival 2023: Key Details Unveiled By The Theater And Performing Arts Commission

The Theater and Performing Arts Commission has announced the details of the second Riyadh Theater Festival. Scheduled from December 15 to 26, it will be held at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in Riyadh. The announcement was made during a news conference at the Saudi Music Hub, attended by Sultan Al-Bazie, the commission's chief executive, along with media professionals and cultural figures.

Al-Bazie highlighted that the festival is crucial for boosting the theatrical scene in Saudi Arabia. It aims to increase public interest in theater and performing arts. He noted that 20 theatrical performances have been selected by a committee of experts. These performances will be evaluated based on comprehensive criteria to showcase the diversity of theatrical arts in Saudi Arabia.
