Riyadh's SnowBlast KSA Cup: A Premier Destination For Global Skiing Talent

In a groundbreaking move for Riyadh, the city is set to host the SnowBlast KSA Cup in the final week of February, as part of the Riyadh Season events. This marks a significant moment as it introduces snow skiing sports to the region for the first time. Scheduled from February 26th to 29th, this event is not just a competition but a celebration of winter sports, showcasing a blend of artistry, creativity, and outdoor skill performance.

The SnowBlast KSA Cup stands out as a unique global event, bringing together 30 world and Olympic champions in skiing sports. Set against an impressive backdrop of over 500 tons of snow, the competition features a slope that stretches 150 meters in length, with a height of 30 meters and a width of approximately 20 meters. Participants will have the opportunity to perform three jumps each, with the total of their best two jumps being calculated for the competition results.

Beyond the thrilling ski and snowboarding performances, the event offers a range of distinctive winter experiences aimed at promoting the sport and fostering both local and international competitions. Visitors can look forward to an array of family-friendly activities starting at 4:00 PM, including snowball battles, building snowmen, simulated snowfall, and roaming winter activities that feature artistic and musical performances.
