Riyadh Season 2024 Draws Two Million Visitors Within First Week Of Launch

Riyadh Season 2024 has begun with a significant impact, attracting two million visitors within its first week. This impressive turnout was shared by Advisor Turki bin Abdulmohsen AlAlshikh, chairman of the board of directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA). The event's popularity underscores the public's excitement for this annual entertainment festival.

The season features five main areas: Boulevard World, Kingdom Arena, Boulevard City, The Venue, and Al-Suwaidi Park. Boulevard World has expanded by 30 percent to accommodate more visitors and introduce new attractions. It now includes five additional sections representing Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Iran, Africa, and Courchevel. This expansion brings the total to 22 diverse areas worldwide, featuring 300 restaurants and cafés and over 890 shops.

Kingdom Arena recently hosted a historic boxing match where Artur Beterbiev emerged as the undisputed light heavyweight champion after defeating Dmitry Bivol by majority decision. This intense competition marked a significant milestone in the boxing world. Meanwhile, The Venue area launched its season with the prestigious Six Kings Slam Championship, known as the world’s most expensive tennis tournament.

This tennis event attracted six top-ranked stars such as Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Rafael Nadal, Daniil Medvedev, and Holger Rune. These renowned players added prestige to the tournament. Additionally, Al-Suwaidi Park is currently celebrating Indian culture with vibrant events running until Tuesday. These festivities include popular shows, traditional cuisine, and artistic concerts that draw large crowds from both the Indian community and culture enthusiasts.
