Riyadh Showcases Innovative Educational Solutions At EDGEx 2025 Event

Riyadh has become a hub for global education with the launch of the Education Global Exhibition (EDGEx 2025), organised by the Ministry of Education. This event drew academics, teachers, students, and parents to explore new educational paths and innovative solutions shaping the future. The exhibition highlights the Kingdom's educational sector development and its digital transformation efforts.

The exhibition serves as a bridge between education and technology, supporting national goals to build a knowledge-based society. Visitors shared their insights with the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), noting how the event reflects a modern vision of Saudi Arabia's educational system. This aligns with Saudi Vision 2030's objectives for a smarter learning environment.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Nefaie from King Saud University emphasised that digital transformation in education is now essential. He praised the technological solutions presented at EDGEx 2025, particularly intelligent guidance systems and virtual reality applications. These innovations demonstrate how technology is reshaping education.

High school teacher Saud Al-Harbi attended to enhance his teaching tools. He found numerous ideas in educational pavilions, such as AI-integrated formative assessment applications and platforms supporting scientific subjects. "It was a very enriching experience," he said, highlighting the potential for classroom adaptation.

Amal Al-Sulami, a high school student, expressed excitement about interactive and tech-driven education at the exhibition. She enjoyed hands-on experiences at University of Jeddah and Taibah University pavilions, which inspired her to consider future majors in technology and artificial intelligence.

Noura Al-Ghamdi visited seeking modern educational tools for her children. She discovered intelligent learning platforms and interactive programs suitable for various age groups. "It was a valuable opportunity to understand how schools today are moving toward smart and holistic education," she noted.

Global Collaboration Initiatives

This year's exhibition showcases collaboration between Saudi universities and international institutions through pioneering initiatives and strategic partnerships. These efforts aim to build globally competitive generations equipped with modern skills, contributing to the Human Capability Development Program.
