Riyadh International Industry Week 2025 Begins

The National Industrial Strategy has identified 15 key enablers under four main pillars: supply chain integration and resilience, enhancement of the industrial legislative environment, expansion of exports and market access, and promotion of research, development, and innovation. These enablers are supported by more than 136 initiatives currently being implemented by various government entities.

Prince Saud bin Turki bin Faisal Al Saud, chairman of Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd., emphasized that Riyadh International Industry Week 2025 continues efforts to highlight investment opportunities. He noted that this year's edition aligns with future directions by offering innovative solutions for national industry development.

During the opening ceremony, Prince Saud announced a strategic agreement between Riyadh Exhibitions Company and Germany’s Messe Düsseldorf. This partnership will host three major industrial exhibitions: K (plastics and rubber), INTERPACK (packaging and processing), and drupa (printing technology). The agreement aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia's position as a regional hub for industrial innovation.

The event features four specialized exhibitions: Saudi Plastics and Petrochemicals Exhibition, Printing and Packaging Exhibition, Smart Manufacturing Exhibition, and Saudi Smart Logistics Exhibition. An accompanying industrial forum includes panel discussions with over 50 speakers discussing manufacturing, supply chains, and digital transformation.

Future Prospects for Saudi Industry

The exhibition is expected to draw more than 25,000 visitors throughout its duration. Prince Saud praised the strong support from sponsors, participants, and decision-makers involved in making this event successful. The focus remains on strengthening Saudi Arabia's role as a regional industrial hub.

This initiative reflects ongoing efforts to position Saudi Arabia as a preferred destination for hosting international specialized exhibitions. By showcasing innovative solutions and forming strategic partnerships, the Kingdom aims to enhance its industrial capabilities on a global scale.
