Riyadh To Host The European Food Festival 2024 Celebrating Culinary Diversity And Cultural Exchange

The European Food Festival 2024 is set to take place in Riyadh on October 24 and 25. This event is organised by the Diplomatic Quarter Office of the Royal Commission in Riyadh, along with the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Saudi Arabia. Al-Kindi Plaza will host the festival, welcoming visitors from 4:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

The festival aims to promote cultural exchange between Saudi Arabia and EU countries through European culinary arts. Attendees can savour a wide array of unique European dishes and flavours. Renowned chefs from Europe will demonstrate their skills, competing to craft exceptional meals that showcase culinary diversity.

Beyond food, the festival offers live music performances and activities for all ages. A special area for children ensures entertainment for younger attendees. The event also provides an opportunity for visitors to purchase various food products from participating restaurants and brands.

EU Ambassador Christophe Farnaud highlighted that the festival is more than just a celebration of European cuisine. "It serves as a concrete expression of the commitment to engage with the Saudi people and foster cultural exchange between nations," he stated.

Mazen Bahamdaine, Acting CEO of the Diplomatic Quarter Office, described the event as a cultural gathering that strengthens ties among different cultures. He noted that this festival is part of ongoing efforts to promote cultural exchange between nations.
