Riyadh To Host Third Saudi Forum For Fourth Industrial Revolution Focusing On Global Technology
The Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Saudi Arabia (C4IR Saudi Arabia) is set to host the third Saudi Forum for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This event, in collaboration with the World Economic Forum (WEF) and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), will take place from October 29 to 30, 2025, at Riyadh's Four Seasons Hotel. It aims to unite experts and leaders from government, business, academia, and research sectors.
The forum will explore how Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies impact various sectors like the economy, industry, and society. Discussions will cover advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and quantum computing. Additionally, smart factories' role in economic growth and sustainable innovation will be highlighted.

This year's forum will emphasise engagement through live sessions and high-level dialogues. Participants can attend specialised workshops focusing on six key themes: Intelligent Economy, Future of Industry, Beyond Digital, Preparing Society for the Future, Responsible Technologies and Ethical Boundaries, and Strategic Resources for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Economy.
Dr. Basma AlBuhairan, Managing Director of C4IR Saudi Arabia, noted that this forum aligns with the Kingdom's shift towards an innovation-driven economy. She stated: "The forum comes as the Kingdom advances toward an innovation-driven economy, reinforcing its role as a leader in the Fourth Industrial Revolution through its partnership with the World Economic Forum."
The event will feature regional workshops tailored for members of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Centres Network. Communities like Young Global Leaders and Global Shapers will also participate. Representatives from Saudi Arabia’s Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) network and local technology pioneers associated with "The Garage" are expected to join.
C4IR Saudi Arabia acts as a national platform promoting responsible development of advanced technologies. It aids in creating governance frameworks that support technology adoption in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals.
