Riyadh To Host Conference On Future Of Competitive Education With Key Themes And Expert Insights

The Saudi Educational and Psychological Association, alongside the Research Excellence Center for the Development of Science and Mathematics Education, will host a scientific conference titled "Towards a Globally Competitive Future in Education." This event, under the patronage of Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan, is scheduled for December 23 to 24 at King Saud University.

Dr. Fayez Al-Fayez, who chairs the conference supervisory committee, highlighted that this gathering is part of an effort to integrate all university entities. The aim is to ensure efficient spending and unify efforts across various sectors. The conference seeks to engage affiliates from higher and general education, as well as stakeholders from public, private, and nonprofit sectors.

Riyadh Hosts Competitive Education Conference

The event will delve into the future of competitive education in Saudi Arabia through discussions led by its guests. Dr. Al-Fayez emphasized that the conference will explore future trends in competitive education amidst current challenges and opportunities. It aims to enhance education using the STEM approach as a key pillar for competitive learning.

Participants will discuss several themes crucial for envisioning Saudi Arabia's educational future. These include addressing future trends in competitive education and examining both challenges and opportunities it faces. The role of technology in education will also be a significant focus during the discussions.

The conference will feature contributions from experts and leaders in both general and higher education fields. A select group of experts will present 12 vital topics on competitive education. Additionally, 14 scientific and research papers have been prepared specifically for this event.

Highlighting distinguished educational experiences at the local level is another goal of the conference. By showcasing these practices, the event aims to inspire improvements within Saudi Arabia's educational landscape.

This initiative reflects a broader commitment to fostering a globally competitive educational environment in the Kingdom. Through collaboration among various sectors, it seeks to create a unified approach towards achieving excellence in education.
