Riyadh To Host Global Health Exhibition 2025 With Emphasis On Health Technology Startups
The Global Health Exhibition is set to host the NextGen Pitch Competition from October 27 to 30, 2025, at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, Riyadh. This event, under the Ministry of Health's patronage and supported by the Health Sector Transformation Program, is organized by Tahaluf. Tahaluf is a collaboration between the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, the Events Investment Fund, and Informa PLC.
The competition aims to provide a platform for emerging health technology companies worldwide. It seeks to connect these innovators with essential resources such as capital, expertise, and market access. The goal is to empower startups to achieve global leadership within the health sector.

Projects invited to participate include those specializing in digital health, medical technology, biotechnology, life sciences, public health, and clinical innovation. The focus is on improving healthcare access, promoting equality, and advancing preventive care. A panel of industry experts will evaluate these projects.
The grand prize for the winning startup is SAR100,000. Additionally, there are opportunities for enhancing regional presence. Twenty companies will be shortlisted for this final competition round.
The Global Health Exhibition will also feature the Venture Forum on its second and fourth days. This forum provides startups with insights into Saudi Arabia's healthcare investment landscape. The fourth day will emphasize procurement by showcasing sustainable purchasing models and supply chain solutions.
This eighth edition of the exhibition aligns with Saudi Arabia's rapid economic growth. The Kingdom is becoming a hub for attracting startup investments in the region. In the first half of 2025 alone, venture capital reached $860 million—a 116% increase compared to the same period in 2024—surpassing total funding for all of last year.
