Riyadh Air Joins Forces With Artefact To Bring AI Innovations To Aviation

Riyadh Air, the national carrier of Saudi Arabia owned entirely by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has announced a significant strategic partnership with Artefact, a top-tier global consultancy known for its expertise in data and artificial intelligence (AI) transformation services. This collaboration is set to introduce innovative AI applications into the aviation sector, aiming to transform various aspects of the airline's operations and customer service. The focus will be on developing Riyadh Air’s data analytics capabilities and crafting AI-driven solutions for its core business and corporate functions, leveraging advanced cloud and AI technologies.

The initiative is expected to enhance the airline's guest experience significantly by offering hyper-personalized services and elevating guest service through intelligent channels. Additionally, it aims to optimize flight and ground operations with real-time data insights and predictions, alongside launching tailored air and non-air product offerings through efficient sales channels. Abe Dev, Vice President of Digital & Innovation at Riyadh Air, emphasized the airline's commitment to adopting advanced technologies to improve every aspect of the guest journey. This partnership marks another step in Riyadh Air's ongoing collaborations with leading figures in the aviation industry.

Looking ahead, Riyadh Air is gearing up for its inaugural flight in 2025. The airline has ambitious plans to redefine air travel and elevate guest experiences to unprecedented levels. By integrating state-of-the-art innovation into its operations, Riyadh Air aims to connect Saudi Arabia with over 100 destinations worldwide. This initiative aligns with the objectives of the National Aviation Strategy and National Tourism Strategy, which seek to draw 330 million visitors annually to the Kingdom by 2030.
