Restatex 2026 Opens In Riyadh Showcasing Leading Real Estate Developers And PPP Growth
Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al-Hogail inaugurated the 35th Restatex real-estate exhibition at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center on Wednesday. The long-running event focuses on the growth of Saudi Arabia’s real-estate sector and its role in national development.
The exhibition brings together government bodies, large real-estate developers, investors, and financial institutions under one roof. Over 35 years, Restatex has evolved into a central meeting point that reflects sector progress, market resilience, investor confidence, and the sector’s adjustment to changing conditions and development plans.

Majed Al-Hogail stressed that the real-estate sector is entering a new qualitative stage. This phase features stronger planning standards, faster project execution, and clearly assigned responsibilities for regulators, developers, and investors. Al-Hogail also pointed to updated laws and regulations as major drivers of sector growth.
The minister underlined that partnerships between public agencies and private companies now form the core of sustainable development in real estate. These partnerships support projects that align with national strategies and housing targets, while improving coordination between all parties involved in planning, funding, and implementation.
Majed Al-Hogail praised the backing provided by the Kingdom's leadership, which has created conditions that support urban development and housing programmes. Al-Hogail described the current stage as a chance to encourage innovation, strengthen national expertise, and design cities that improve prosperity and quality of life for Saudi families.
Restatex 2026 runs until Saturday at the Riyadh venue. The programme includes the first edition of PropNext, a specialist platform offering sessions on real-estate legislation, financing instruments, investment appeal, and development trends. The Saudi Press Agency reported the event at 22:39 local time, 19:39 GMT, with reference number 0088.
