Response Plus Medical Completes Acquisition Of UK's Prometheus Medical For Expansion
Response Plus Medical (RPM), a key player in the healthcare sector and part of Response Plus Holding, has recently announced the successful acquisition of Prometheus Medical, a UK-based entity previously under the umbrella of US-based Safeguard Medical. This strategic move is set to bolster RPM's international presence and service spectrum, marking a pivotal step in its global expansion efforts.
The integration of Prometheus Medical into RPM's portfolio is a strategic alignment with the latter's vision to broaden its service offerings and extend its geographical footprint. Prometheus Medical is renowned for its expertise in combat medical training, expert consultancy and training, as well as pre-hospital solutions. With this acquisition, RPM aims to leverage Prometheus' specialized skills to penetrate the UK and Nordic markets further.

Under the new arrangement, Prometheus Medical will continue its operations as an independent entity within RPM's portfolio. However, there will be a rebranding initiative for its operations in the United Kingdom and the Nordic region, which will henceforth be known as Prometheus Medical International. Meanwhile, its operations within the UAE will maintain the brand name Prometheus UAE.
Dr. Rohil Raghavan, CEO of Response Plus Holding, expressed his enthusiasm about this development, stating, "The completion of the Prometheus acquisition is a significant milestone for RPM, ushering in a new chapter in our global expansion strategy. RPM is a leading player in pre-hospital care and the acquisition of Prometheus Medical is a natural fit in our growth journey. Through this acquisition, we are not only adding new capabilities in specialised medical training but also growing exponentially across sectors and markets."
This acquisition signifies RPM's commitment to enhancing its service quality and expanding its reach across new territories. By incorporating Prometheus Medical's expertise and reputation into its operations, RPM is set to make significant strides in the healthcare sector, particularly in areas requiring specialized medical training and pre-hospital care solutions.
The move is expected to not only enhance RPM's operational capabilities but also contribute positively to its market positioning and service delivery across different regions. With this strategic acquisition, RPM is poised for further growth and success in the international healthcare services market.
