Walyatawafu Initiative Strengthened With National Volunteers For Hajj Season
The Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has bolstered the "Walyatawafu" initiative at the Grand Mosque with nationally trained volunteers. This enhancement aligns with the presidency's plan for the Hajj season 1445 AH, as pilgrims gather at the Grand Mosque to perform Friday prayers, creating a worshipful atmosphere and enriching the volunteers' roles.
The initiative aims to support qualified volunteer circumambulators, enabling them to guide pilgrims and assist in performing rituals securely and peacefully. The Presidency of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque in Makkah has provided substantial support to Tawaf management with numerous qualified volunteers working around the clock to accommodate an expected million pilgrims.

The presidency oversees administrative tasks related to circumambulation, monitors their execution, and directly supervises activities within the Grand Mosque. Additionally, it guides volunteers to follow the Sunnah in performing rituals and adhere to prescribed supplications and traditions during Tawaf and Saie. Volunteers are encouraged to exhibit good conduct, showcasing Islam's moderate and merciful aspects.
This initiative reflects positively on Saudi Arabia and its citizens as servants of the Two Holy Mosques, highlighting their efforts in serving holy sites and pilgrims. The presidency's commitment ensures a secure worship environment filled with humility and tranquillity, following the guidance of the Prophet.
