Regulatory Mobility Partnership Named For UMEX And SimTEX 2026 In Abu Dhabi
ADNEC Group has confirmed that the Integrated Transport Centre, an affiliate of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, is the Regulatory Mobility Partner for the seventh edition of the Unmanned Systems Exhibition and Simulation and Training Exhibition. UMEX and SimTEX 2026 will run from 20th to 22nd January 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
Organised by ADNEC Group in cooperation with the Ministry of Defence, UMEX and SimTEX 2026 will again focus on unmanned and autonomous systems. The events will welcome global industry leaders, technology firms and government representatives, who will examine how these systems are being deployed across civilian, commercial and defence activities worldwide.

As the region’s largest meetings dedicated to unmanned and autonomous systems, UMEX and SimTEX 2026 will present a broad range of technologies. These include artificial intelligence tools, autonomous ground and air vehicles, virtual reality platforms and advanced simulation solutions that support planning, training and operations in complex environments.
Visitors will see how these technologies are being applied in sectors such as transportation, manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, agriculture and defence. Through live demonstrations and detailed conference sessions, the exhibitions will show how autonomous and simulation systems can improve efficiency, strengthen safety, and raise productivity, supporting more resilient infrastructure and services worldwide.
Humaid Al Dhaheri, Group Chief Executive Officer of ADNEC Group, said, "Our strategic partnership with the Integrated Transport Centre, a regional leader in smart and sustainable mobility solutions, will further elevate this edition of UMEX and SimTEX. With their support, UMEX and SimTEX 2026 will see the launch of a new Commercial Conference and a wide variety of technologies within the civilian and commercial sectors. UMEX and SimTEX cement ADNEC Group’s commitment to positioning Abu Dhabi at the forefront of the global technology landscape, bringing together decision-makers, innovators, and mobility solution providers."
The Integrated Transport Centre will use UMEX and SimTEX 2026 to highlight autonomous vehicle deployment across Abu Dhabi’s transport network. Planned exhibits will address award-winning autonomous vehicle projects, advanced air mobility initiatives and the wider smart transport infrastructure designed to support connected and automated mobility services.
Alongside the exhibitions, the Integrated Transport Centre will join the newly created Commercial Conference at UMEX and SimTEX 2026. Sessions will outline the latest regulations, technical standards, innovations and policy directions that are expected to guide the growth of autonomous systems for civilian and commercial use over the coming years.
Dr Abdulla Hamad AlGhfeli, Acting Director General of Integrated Transport Centre, said, "Our partnership with ADNEC Group at UMEX and SimTEX 2026, and the accompanying Commercial Conference, represents an important opportunity to highlight our regulatory frameworks and flagship projects in autonomous vehicles and advanced air mobility, as well as the smart infrastructure ecosystem we are developing. This international platform also supports the exchange of expertise and the formation of high-value partnerships that help accelerate the adoption of future technologies, advance sustainability and innovation priorities, and reinforce Abu Dhabi’s global leadership in smart mobility."
With leading international companies and experts expected to attend UMEX and SimTEX 2026, organisers anticipate active debate and collaboration. Delegates will be able to network, review emerging trends, and contribute to long-term plans for unmanned and autonomous systems across multiple sectors, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position as a regional hub for smart mobility dialogue.
