Registration Now Open For Sixth Edition Of DXB Snow Run At Ski Dubai On 18th May 2025

The Dubai Sports Council, in collaboration with Majid Al Futtaim, has opened registration for the sixth DXB Snow Run. This unique event is the only one of its kind in the Middle East and will occur on 18th May 2025. Participants will run inside Ski Dubai at Mall of the Emirates. The race is open to individuals aged 16 and above, regardless of nationality or fitness level.

Participants can choose between two race distances: 3 kilometres or 5 kilometres. The event offers a distinctive summer sports experience with temperatures inside Ski Dubai dropping below -4 °C. This provides a stark contrast to the region's typical heat, making it an exciting event for both locals and visitors. Registration is available on PremierOnline until 15th May 2025.

Snow sports are a significant part of the Dubai Sports Council's annual calendar. The Council works with various partners to host diverse and inclusive events that reflect Dubai’s vibrant sports culture. These initiatives align with the city's vision to boost sports tourism and offer opportunities for all nationalities and people of determination to participate in their favourite sports.

Training Opportunities

To prepare participants for the race, Ski Dubai offers daily morning training sessions for those aged 13 to 70. These sessions include guided snow hikes up the slope from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 10:00, and on weekends from 07:00 to 09:00.

In partnership with Majid Al Futtaim, the Council organises numerous snow-based competitions throughout the year. This collaboration helps establish Dubai as a global hub for sporting excellence all year round.
