Red Wave-7 Naval Exercise Strengthens Maritime Security In The Red Sea

The "Red Wave-7" naval exercise has officially commenced at the King Faisal Naval Base within the Western Fleet, marking a significant collaboration among nations along the Red Sea. This exercise sees the participation of Jordan, Egypt, Djibouti, and Yemen, alongside the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, the Royal Saudi Land Forces, the Royal Saudi Air Force, and units from the Saudi Border Guard. Rear Admiral Mansour bin Saud Al-Juaid, Commander of the Western Fleet, emphasized that the primary goal of "Red Wave-7" is to bolster maritime security across the Red Sea's bordering countries and safeguard their territorial waters.

Al-Juaid elaborated that the drill is the culmination of three conferences attended by officers from all participating nations. These meetings were instrumental in developing the forces and designing a series of exercises that are crucial for the training of all involved parties. Over five days, participants will engage in a comprehensive program that includes strategic lectures and realistic combat scenario exercises. The aim is to foster joint and mixed military efforts across various domains such as surface and air warfare, electronic warfare, and rapid response to speedboat attacks.
