Red Sea International Film Festival Reveals Global Selections Lineup For Its 2024 Edition
The Red Sea International Film Festival has unveiled its "Global Selections" for the fourth edition, featuring 12 films curated over recent months. Scheduled from December 5 to 14, these films aim to promote cultural diversity by showcasing award-winning works from various regions. The festival fosters dialogue and understanding among diverse audiences through cinema's universal language.
The Director of International Programming, Kaleem Aftab, highlighted the festival's commitment to diverse voices and perspectives. He mentioned that this year's films explore authentic themes, including social issues and relationships in a complex world. "This year’s selections represent a diverse range of countries and regions, with strong representation from Europe and Africa and a notable presence of films from the Arab world," Aftab said.
