Red Sea Global Launches Fifth Edition Of Vocational Training Program For Saudi Youth

Red Sea Global (RSG) has opened registration for the fifth edition of its Red Sea Vocational Training Program. This initiative, in collaboration with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), aims to nurture Saudi talent in tourism and hospitality. Registration is available from July 10 to 16, 2025, for young men and women across Saudi Arabia.

The program spans 28 months and includes an intensive English language course, specialized vocational training, and practical experience at Red Sea Global destinations or with its partners. It offers six specialized tracks: health and wellness tourism operations, hotel room services, food and beverage services, culinary arts, and electrical and mechanical services. These areas address essential operational needs while enhancing graduates' employment prospects.

Red Sea Global Launches Vocational Training Program

This program guarantees either a job opportunity or a defined career path for every graduate. It is the first of its kind among major projects in the Kingdom to offer such assurance. Comprehensive support services are also provided, including academic advising, enrichment programs, interview coaching, and résumé writing workshops.

The initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030's objectives to develop national capabilities and create quality jobs in the growing tourism and hospitality sectors. The program's success is evident from previous cohorts that have benefited over 1,500 students so far. Of these students, 650 have already secured employment at Red Sea Global destinations.

The first cohort began in 2021 through partnerships with leading universities and academic institutions. The third edition saw a notable female participation rate of 52.4%, with 35% of accepted candidates coming from the Red Sea region. It also achieved one of the lowest dropout rates among similar training programs in Saudi Arabia.

Ahmad Ghazi Darwish, Chief Administrative Officer and official spokesperson of Red Sea Global, stated: "The success of this program reflects our belief in the role of Saudi youth in advancing the tourism sector and our commitment to providing genuine and sustainable professional development opportunities. We don’t just train—we empower young people to enter the workforce in one of the fastest-growing tourist destinations worldwide."

Building on Past Achievements

The launch of this fifth edition builds on past successes. Another 466 graduates are preparing to join the workforce soon, bringing employed graduates to over 1,000. This growth demonstrates RSG's dedication to empowering Saudi youth through professional development opportunities.
