Red Sea Global Enhances Saudi Tourism Skills Through Educational Partnerships And Training Initiatives

Red Sea Global has signed three educational agreements under the fifth edition of the Red Sea Vocational Training Program. This initiative, in partnership with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), aims to provide employment opportunities. The agreements involve the University of Prince Mugrin, the Higher Institute for Paper and Industrial Technologies, and Batterjee Medical Colleges. These partnerships are crucial as development at The Red Sea and AMAALA destinations progresses rapidly.

The collaboration with the University of Prince Mugrin will train 180 students in luxury hospitality diplomas. The program offers two tracks: culinary arts and food and beverage services. "This forms the cornerstone of delivering exceptional guest experiences and solidifying the destinations’ positions on the global luxury tourism map," stated the release.

Red Sea Global Boosts Saudi Tourism Education

Red Sea Global's partnership with Batterjee Medical Colleges continues, offering specialized diplomas in hotel operations and food and beverage services. It also includes a second cohort in health and wellness tourism, aiming to make the Red Sea destination a regional hub in this field. This aligns with global growth trends in health tourism.

The agreement with the Higher Institute for Paper and Industrial Technologies will train 180 students in technical services like electrical and mechanical fields. This training aims to produce professionals capable of maintaining advanced infrastructure using cutting-edge technologies to meet environmental goals.

Eng. Ahmed Ghazi Darwish, Red Sea Global's Chief Administrative Officer, stated: "We are not just building tourist destinations; we are building a bright future for the sons and daughters of our nation." He emphasized that these agreements empower Saudi professionals by providing jobs and nurturing ambassadors of authentic Saudi hospitality blended with world-class standards.

The Red Sea Vocational Training Program, launched in 2021, is a key human capital development initiative by Red Sea Global. It has graduated hundreds of young Saudis who have joined various sectors within the company’s luxury resorts already operational.

Commitment to Excellence

Dr. Sanaa Askool from the University of Prince Mugrin remarked: "These agreements reflect our commitment to continuing our fruitful collaboration with Red Sea Global to achieve our shared Vision 2030 objectives." She highlighted their role in advancing hospitality and tourism sectors by preparing skilled national cadres.

Eng. Ali Bamusaad from the Higher Institute for Paper and Industrial Technologies added: "This agreement comes as part of our commitment to enhancing the efficiency of Saudi talent." He noted that combining theoretical and practical training equips trainees with skills needed for Saudi Arabia's growing tourism sector.

Empowering Future Leaders

Batterjee Medical Colleges' Prof. Mohammed Al-Tayeb stated: "This collaboration aims to empower national talents in promising sectors—especially through unique programs such as the Health and Wellness Tourism diploma." He emphasized its alignment with Vision 2030’s goal of preparing a qualified generation for leading development in Saudi Arabia.

"These agreements reaffirm Red Sea Global’s steadfast commitment not only to developing world-class tourism destinations but also to investing in the Kingdom’s most valuable asset—its people," said the release. This ensures that they remain integral to success along the shores of the Red Sea.
