Red Sea Global Celebrates Inaugural Direct Flight From Europe To Red Sea International Airport

The first direct flight from Europe to Red Sea International Airport has been announced by Red Sea Global. This development is a significant step in enhancing Saudi Arabia's tourism and global connectivity, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030. The inaugural flight took off from Milan, Italy, creating a direct air link between Europe and the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia.

This new route facilitates European travellers' access to the Red Sea and AMAALA destinations. Visitors can enjoy luxurious experiences amidst nature, whether on Beond’s premium aircraft or through the top-notch facilities at Red Sea International Airport, which are designed to reflect the local environment.

The route was officially launched during a signing ceremony at the TOURISE Global Tourism Summit in Riyadh. This event highlighted the strong collaboration between partners aiming to usher in a new era of luxury travel to Saudi Arabia. The initiative underscores a commitment to providing exceptional tourism experiences rooted in innovation.

The Red Sea destination currently features nine luxury hotels that are open to guests. Additionally, there is the exclusive Thuwal Private Resort located off Jeddah's coast. These offerings are part of an expanding portfolio aimed at attracting high-end tourists seeking unique experiences.

Earlier this week, Red Sea Global introduced the AMAALA destination. This project will initially include six world-class luxury resorts, alongside a yacht club and the Coralium Marine Life Institute. A state-of-the-art marina and a lively marina village are also set to open soon.

This strategic move not only boosts tourism but also strengthens Saudi Arabia's position as a premier global travel destination. By enhancing connectivity and offering unparalleled luxury experiences, the Kingdom aims to attract discerning travellers from around the world.
