Red Sea Global Trains Nearly 2,000 Students To Enhance Tourism Talent Development

Red Sea Global (RSG) has been making strides in education since 2019, aiming to nurture future leaders in tourism. Through 16 educational initiatives, RSG has empowered Saudi talent and created job opportunities across over 20 entities at its destinations. These programs have benefitted 1,995 students in fields like luxury hospitality, airport services, and health tourism.

In February 2024, during the Human Capability Initiative conference in Riyadh, RSG announced The Red Sea National Academy (TRSNA). This academy will focus on hospitality and tourism education. It plans to collaborate with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation and Colleges of Excellence to offer programs tailored to regional labor market needs.

Empowering Future Leaders in Tourism Education

The academy aims to equip local talent with skills essential for strengthening Saudi Arabia's tourism sector. By aligning training with industry demands, TRSNA seeks to ensure that participants are well-prepared for various roles within the sector.

RSG's educational strategy is part of a broader effort to engage young Saudis and achieve significant milestones. As a result, 122 young men and women have secured employment at Red Sea International Airport (RSI) after completing RSG's training programs.

The Red Sea destination now hosts guests at five resorts. Since September 2023, RSI has handled domestic flights from Jeddah and Riyadh. Additionally, flights from Dammam began twice weekly in December 2024, with international flights from Dubai starting in April 2024.

RSG's education department is committed to equipping the next generation with necessary skills while offering promising career paths. This aligns with their vision of developing world-class destinations that attract global visitors.

The collaboration between TRSNA and educational institutions aims to provide specialized training that meets the evolving needs of the tourism industry. This initiative is crucial for building a skilled workforce capable of supporting the Kingdom's growing tourism ambitions.

By focusing on education and skill development, RSG is contributing significantly to Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 goals. The company's efforts are paving the way for a robust tourism sector driven by well-trained professionals ready to meet future challenges.
