Red Sea Global (RSG) has unveiled its Destination Resilience Report, which details a robust framework for crisis management, business continuity, and risk governance. This initiative aims to ensure safe and sustainable tourism experiences. The report addresses potential risks like natural disasters, climate change, infrastructure vulnerabilities, and supply chain disruptions. RSG prioritises the safety of guests, local communities, and ecosystems while ensuring long-term operational stability.

Dr. Mariam Fekteshlu, Head of Governance at RSG, stated that resilience is central to the company's vision and operations. This focus enables RSG to anticipate challenges and adapt effectively. Since its founding, RSG has committed to sustainable tourism with a strong emphasis on safety, environmental responsibility, and economic prosperity.

The report highlights mechanisms for maintaining business continuity and ensuring critical facilities can withstand challenges through alternative strategies and recovery plans. An integrated infrastructure supports these efforts with onsite reserves like water storage facilities and solar battery systems providing full power for two days. Emergency energy coverage extends up to 15 days.
